As with every British summer time, the weather can throw all your summer outfits into disarray. But whether there is rain or shine, we always want our skin to look good.
In this article we share our top tips for body care to make sure you can feel skin happy this festival season.
Pre-festival
Exfoliate your skin
No matter what the weather, exfoliating your skin with a good body scrub will make sure you are prepared for whatever you might expect next.
Tip: Something light and zingy helps to give your skin a revitalised summer feeling, which is a perfect base before grabbing the fake tan or sun lotion.

Get photo ready
We have all woken up with a spot in our cleavage or back just when you want to look camera ready. Festivals should be stress free so you want to keep the chances of spot breakouts at bay.
Tip: Try using a fresh cleanser even for your body, which will help to keep your skin oil free in the lead up to the big event.

Festival time!
Drink plenty of water
Although the festival diet may consist of packet food, cold beans, sweets and alcohol, it’s a good idea to remember to drink plenty of water.
Tip: Try to get some nutrients from fruits like oranges, which can help to make sure your skin remains fresh, despite only getting 4 hours sleep!
Keep it simple
You are shower less, which means two things for your hair: lots of dry shampoo and tight French plaits. During times like these, skincare should be just as simple. Take a travel sample face wash and moisturiser. They will ensure you can give your skin a good clean at any time of day.
Tip: Find a staple moisturiser, which contains Vitamin C to keep your face feeling, revitalised even if you haven’t been near a shower for days.
Don’t forget the sun cream!
A Rudolf nose in the height of summer is never a good look. Even on a cloudy day, rays from the sun can damage your skin, so it’s important to remember your sun cream.
Tip: Apply all over your body and remember to re-apply every 2-3 hours.
Post-festival
Whether you experienced a heat wave or spent 3 days in the rain don’t forget to have a deep cleanse and moisturising session after you return.
Opt for a body scrub to exfoliate your body and a facial mask to unclog your pores on your face.
Run yourself a bubble bath and relax. The extra TLC should leave you and your skin feeling refreshed.
