Say goodbye to deep lines around the mouth

People who are worried sick of the fact that their skin has started developing deep lines around the mouth (also known, as nasolabial folds) should put their worries to one side. These are not as big a problem to deal with as one thinks. It is an issue that can be controlled with the right approach.

Here are a few points to deal with these lines around the mouth.

1.    Make some alterations in your lifestyle

If you smoke, immediately quit it, as this habit can further augment the problem to an undesirable amount.

Sun basking to get that tan look is a fad and highly bad for your skin. When out in the sun, you must apply a broad-spectrum sun lock. The UV rays coming out of the sun can make wrinkles get even worse as it causes dehydration and photo ageing.

2.    Home care

It is the easiest and the most cost-effective method of kicking away those deep lines to pave way for soft plump looking skin. If you ensure this, I can assure you that these will provide similar results as any expensive anti ageing cream taken on prescription. 4.    Some moving and shaking

Face tightening exercises are considered helpful in getting rid of the wrinkles around the mouth.

Stretch your lips as if saying “cheese”. Hold on to this position for a couple of seconds. Then bring your lips close enough as if you are about to kiss someone. Stretch them as if saying, “go”. Hold your lips in this state and relax. Repeat this whole exercise for at least 20 times.

Just practice them every day in front of the mirror for a minimum of 15 minutes and see the way they start reducing.

5.    Watch your diet

Wrinkles and fine lines may start forming when you lose weight. The reason being, you lose collagen and elastin – the two most essential compounds and the related connective tissue. Add proteins to your diet. By eating proteins, you can make up for the loss of collagen and elastin, thus reducing wrinkles around the mouth.

6.  Scrub the dead parts out

Use natural exfoliating ingredients like avocados, bananas, lemon and strawberries. This loosens the dead skin that clings on to form wrinkles. Gradually you will see an improvement in the wrinkle condition.
